Cheer and Pep, MY ANALYSIS. :D
Wednesday, September 17, 2008
So today was the start of the SAA Intramurals, and my task as Sports Editor is to document, EVERYTHING.

So the usual things happened, but this year, there was a twist.
Each team had to present a short exhibition as a patikim of their pep. :))

Here was my analysis. :))

First up was Team C, they really did do a good job, from the start till the end with high energy. Their rendition of Move, Shake, Drop and one Avril song was nice, :)

Then was Team D, because of the technical difficulties of Team B. They showed a sexy dance of Pink Panther. They showed splits, and lotsa sexy stuff. =)) Convincing.

Team A, they performed really well, WITH THEIR TEACHERS. It was entertaining. :))

Team B, it was good, solid performance. :D

now off to the pep performance. :)
Here`s my solid, nice analysis. :D

First to perform was Team C. They expected to be the best this year, knowing their beautiful composition. Their start, was ok. The cheering squad was kinda off, not really in position. Maybe it was because of their nervousness. The momentum was lost, but it was slightly recovered by their pep. :) Their pep was very nice, especially their Rhythmic Gymnastics routine. :D All in all, they did a good job.

Then was Team B. They couldn`t have made a better entrance. A very tall girl, tumbling and landing in the split was cute. B had the nice advantage of going 2nd because that`s the ideal position among the 4. But the cheerers forgot cheers and the volume was not loud. :| The pep did a very good job, however, the overall performance was too lengthy, but I commend them for making a nice dance. :) I was just disappointed. :|

Our team was next, Team D. Well, the cheerers did an Okaay job, only liked a few parts, but the pep added alot of things to re-spark the energy of the crowd. There were a few mistakes in the tumbling parts. But I loved their Icebox routine. What made their routine stand out was the degree of difficulty shown.

Then There was P U R, P L E, PURPLE CAVALIERS! Sorry. It`s too catchy. =))
They did something unique. They combined the pep and the cheering squad, and it worked. BIGTIME. I couldn`t comment more. Since the momentum was up by a solid performance, the impact was even louder. They didn`t use drums in their routine, so I don`t know if it`s good or bad, but one thing that wasn`t pleasing was that they didn`t have much cheers.

If I were to rank, it would be close, but I`ll go A, D, C, B in that order.
Peace tayong lahat!
