Well recently, I`ve been reading a lot of blog posts about love. Well I thought, "Why not? Share something about LOVE?" Well, I had second thoughts about posting this post mainly because I haven`t really had the experience in LOVE. But here I go.

When I researched on Encarta Dictionaries, love was defined as:

1.	transitive and intransitive verb feel tender affection for somebody: to feel tender affection for somebody such as a close relative or friend, or for something such as a place, an ideal, or an animal
2.	transitive and intransitive verb feel desire for somebody: to feel romantic and sexual desire and longing for somebody
3.	transitive verb like something very much: to like something, or like doing, something very much I love watching old movies on TV.
4.	transitive verb show kindness to somebody: to feel and show kindness and charity to somebody love your enemies

A teacher of mine defined love as : a feeling you feel when you`re feeling the feeling that you`re feeling a feeling that you`ve never felt before.

For me, Love is a condition of the soul wherein there is a special connection between two individuals that words cannot simply explain.

As I said in my introduction, I haven`t had much experience in terms of love. But despite that, I have learned a lot about love. I learned from love in movies, sitcoms, books, blogs and of course, personal experience.

I would want to tackle first about the TEEN FILIPINO LOVE. For me, i think it is the cheesiest and most overly-dramatic "love".

What`s wrong with this is that most teens think that they need to engage in a relationship ASAP. They think that it is ALREADY LOVE. And they start calling each other crappy names and act like they`re 25. Before you now it, they`re already kissing, touching each other and hugging. They aren`t civilized. And they break up and cry their hearts out. And they go ranting about it in their Friendster`s "bo0 hoO hoO. bReaK nA kaMi. T.T" or "wAaAaAH! SINGLE AKO! :(("

But enough about that. I`m not saying that just because I`m single since birth but because I think it`s best that some people be aware of the condition of a typical Filipino teen.

Another thing I want to rant about is "Love at first sight". Puhleease. Like someone believes in this crap. How the hell would you love someone if you just met that person?!

Well, This time. I really want to put the five things I want in a girl. I`m sure this will sound cheesy. But who cares.

5. What I want in a girl is someone that is sorta a total package. Someone that has decent looks, Good personality, a bit witty and a good soul. I want someone that I wouldn`t regret loving. I`m not saying that there are imperfections

4. I want someone who goes to Church. Yes please. :D

3. I want someone that has constant communication-- Any means possible. I think it`s what`s important is the connection.

2. I want someone who can give time for talking or maybe chatting. Someone who wouldn`t sacrifice a small conversation for the sake of work. Someone who can make someone feel good.

1. I want someone who is true to herself. Someone who wouldn`t say "I LIKE IT TOO." just to impress me. I would like someone who`d get angry because she`s angry. Someone who`d say bad words because that`s who she really is.

Well, for the third time, I`m going to say I`m inexperienced in LOVE. But here are 5 things I learned.

5. Love doesn`t always hurt. As long as we know how to make it work.

4. Love will confuse your feelings. Especially when you are unsure about your feelings to someone.

3. Friendship does play a factor in Love. Relationships work better if you start out as friends. Befriend each other`s friends and you`ll make wonders. [Note: This was my mistake]

2. You will be distracted. That`s why you still have to control your life while sharing it with that person.

1. Love will make you. Love will break you. But there should always be room for change, always time to move on.

I`m not saying you should completely follow my guide.
I just don`t want your love story to end up like me.
I want you and your significant other to end up FRIENDS AGAIN.
Too bad that didn`t happen to mine.
