Realizations of over 2 years of blogging.
Yes, that`s right. I`ve been a blogger for 2 years going on 3. Well here are many things that I realized.
First, If you stick to One site, believe me. You`ll get more hits. Because if you keep switching, people will get confused on which blog you should check. I had a Friendster blog, moved to Xanga, then Blogspot, LJ, Nexopia and back here, although my Nex is still alive.
Second, Pictures/Videos- OPTIONAL:). You don`t have to put those to make it look more presentable. It`s you`re choice. It`s your life. If they hate it, then let them DEAL WITH IT.
Third, Your layout, should suit your mood. It`s just like a reflection on how you feel and how other people should deal with it. Don`t make a rainbow background if you`re sooo depressed. It`s just like putting soy sauce in your cereal.
Fourth, Freedom of Speech. Express your sentiments, joys, pains and many more. Don`t be afraid to mantion names. They might not know about it. If you want to put gossip, go ahead.
Fifth, Treat your blog like a pet. Never neglect it. That`s what I did at first. Update often and let people see you.
Sixth, Enjoy Life. That`s why you have a blog, to show your joy.:)
Seventh, Promote It. You`re putting it on the net because you want people to know about you. LEt them know who you really are by promoting it so that you`ll be known everywhere.
Eigth, Any Problems, Complaints to your blog from other people, like I always say, DEAL WITH IT. Explain to them gently, what you meant by the post. And tell them, It`s your point of view.
Ninth, Put a chatterbox, so that you can be with friends, talk to them and gain new ones. It won`t hurt to try.
Tenth, No matter what mood you are in, Enjoy Blogging:)
Those are 10 tips I can give. I`m not sure you`ll agree. If you don`t, then DEAL WITH IT. :))
Last quote for the evening:
Sometimes we realize to change for the better just when the situation got worse. We realize to finally correct our mistakes just when those mistakes have caused irreversible damage. We finally decided to prove ourselves worthy just when the person whom you want to prove your worth has already decided that you’re not worth it at all. Most of the lessons are learned when the test is over.
Goodnight all:)
